Bronze 50th Anniversary of Medallic Art Company 1900 - 1950

This superb bronze medal was issued in 1950 by the Medallic Art Company to commemorate its 5th anniversary. The obverse depicts a woman's head in profile looking right with a panther's head helmet with various wheels and pistons to the right. The medal is stamped with a copyright symbol and "MACo" for medallic Art Company. the reverse has a branch overlaid with a hand holding this medal obverse up. It is stamped "1900 1950 Medallic Art Company 50th Anniversary" with the American eagle below.
The rim is stamped "Medallic Art Co.N.Y. Bronze" The medal is presented in a cream box the inside top of which is stamped "Medallic Art Co. New York"
